32nd Annual Battle of Galveston Commemoration

Galveston, Texas
January 2, 2027.

Join the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2027 at the historic Episcopal Cemetery in Galveston, Texas to witness this dramatic ceremony. The event will be hosted by the Lt. Cmdr. Edward Lea Camp #2 of Houston, and is supported by the other Camps of the Department of Texas and Louisiana

The ceremony celebrates the memory of the Union Soldiers and Sailors who participated in the January 1, 1863 Battle of Galveston - especially those who lost their lives during the action.
